How To - Import Contacts into SmarterMail

Applies to: SmarterMail 3.x and higher

How to import Contacts into SmarterMail:

1. Login into the SmarterMail web interface as a User
2. Click on the Contacts tab
3. Click My Contacts
4. Click Actions and then Import Contacts
5. Browse to the directory containing your contact information.  SmarterMail supports *.VCF (VCard files) and or *.CSV (Comma Separated text files)
6. Click OK
7. Click Next, after you have set the Map Contact Fields
8. You will be prompted to resolve any conflicts, to either Replace Existing Contact or Skip this Contact.
9. Once, the conflicts have been resolved your done.
